The road to vocal recovery: after 20 years and $80000 of orthodontic, dental, and oral maxillofacial surgery on both jaws, I have finally reached the end of my treatment towards fixing tmd (temporal mandibular displacemnent) problem. This is an example of what my voice can do after I fixed my bite and tmj popping and clicking. I set a goal three years ago when I was unemployed for 9 months, $3000 in credit card debt and just graduated from college. I sold my van, bass clarinet, borrowed more student loans and went back to college to get a master's in education.
